Meet the Speakers

Kathy Mazzarella

Kathleen M. Mazzarella, Chairman, President, and CEO of Graybar, leads a team of 9,400 employees across 325 locations in North America. Kathy’s inspiring story started more than four decades ago, when she joined Graybar in an entry-level position at age 19.  She rose through the ranks to become Graybar’s 11th President and CEO in 2012, and she became Chairman of Graybar’s board of directors the following year. Under her visionary leadership, Graybar grew from a $5.4 billion company in 2012 to a $10.5 billion company in 2022. Kathy holds degrees in telecommunications engineering, applied behavioral sciences, and business administration. She serves on several corporate, civic and industry boards and has received numerous awards for her extraordinary leadership and impact.

Todd Thiewes

Todd Thiewes, with over 25 years of successful sales leadership, holds a B.A. degree in Sales and Marketing from the University of Minnesota – Duluth. He has excelled in various roles, from Independent Sales Representative to Vice President of Sales, showcasing his creative and innovative approach to motivate and lead teams.

In a previous international role, Todd trained and managed top sales representatives, achieving remarkable success with the Sandler Selling System. Recognizing sales as a behavioral change, Todd now collaborates with companies globally to instill these principles, resulting in increased productivity and sales growth.

  • Reid Strelow

    State Farm Insurance Agent

    Owns and operates a local independent State Farm agency in Hermantown. With over 10 years in the industry, Reid enjoys working with the community - helping folks plan for the future and recover from the unexpected. As the business has grown over the years, his role managing a team of licensed agents has allowed the opportunity to coach and mentor the other professionals in the agency. Reid is married to his lovely wife Alex and together they have three rambunctious boys. Outside of the office, he volunteers by coaching his kiddo's sports teams and serves as a board member for a youth sports organization.

  • Mitch Lang

    Uline Sales Manager

    Graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire in 2013 with a degree in Business Management. Shortly after graduating, I started my career with Uline as an Account Manager covering a territory centrally located in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Over the past 10 years, I have been fortunate to grow with Uline as an Account Manager, a Sales Trainer, and now a Sales Manager working with a team that makes up nine territories spanning across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the Dakotas.

  • Bill Watson

    Northwestern Mutual Financial Advisor

    Bill Watson, a hockey legend, made his mark at UMD as the only Bulldog to surpass 100 points in a season, earning him two-time All-American honors and the Hobey Baker Memorial Award. His remarkable playing career transitioned to the NHL with the Chicago Blackhawks, where he played four seasons and received the Emery-Edge Award for the best plus-minus rating in 1986-87. Watson's enduring impact on Bulldog hockey, coupled with his successful pro career, is complemented by his nearly 25-year tenure as a Financial Advisor at Northwestern Mutual. With a Bachelor Degree from UMD, Watson excels in financial planning, coaching, sales, team building, and management, solidifying his legacy both on the ice and in the financial industry.

  • Aeysha Major

    Fastenal Regional Manager

    Aeysha leads a 20+ team of national contract sellers who are responsible for establishing relationships with prospect corporate headquarters, negotiating contracts with enterprise-wide coverage to the customer’s locations, as well as maintaining and growing those relationships with Fastenal’s customers across any or all of Fastenal’s product categories or services.

    Aeysha began her career at Fastenal part time while in college and earned her bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University while working in Fastenal’s branch network. After graduation, she moved into locally based selling roles before joining the National Account Department as a seller before later moving into the Regional Manager role.

  • Dan Farley

    Cintas General Manager

    Dan started his career with Cintas as a Management Trainee in 2002 in a suburb of Cleveland, OH. After his MT rotation, he became a Sales Representative for one year before moving back into operations as a Service Manager. In 2008 he was promoted to Branch Manager position in Painesville, OH for 18 months where he helped the location improve customer retention from 91% to 95.5%. From there Dan was promoted to the Regional Service Director role covering Western NY, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Western Kentucky, and Northeast OH where he helped his group achieve the Outstanding Achievement Award 4 times in the 8 fiscal years since the group was formed. Additionally, he was a lead integration specialist during acquisition of Coyne Textile Services, and lead the project of investing nearly $20 million to build a state of the art processing facility in Syracuse, NY.

    Prior to Cintas, Dan graduated from Harvard University where he was a member of the Varsity football team that went undefeated in 2001. Dan is married to his wife Katie and they have three amazing boys Crandon (12), Sean (10), and Patrick (7)
